As Mike ascended into his 30s he elected to spend more time on his passion, aviation. While Mike could have made a small fortune selling his company (which was appraised at a high value) Mike choose the route of giving several talented people jobs and passing on his knowledge of business, customer service, and tradesman ship to the younger generation. After Tint 2k was setup, under Mike’s guidance, experience, and leadership he committed all of himself to becoming a commercial pilot.

Mike’s decision to be a commercial pilot did not happen overnight. Mike had been flying privately for years and owes the gift of flight to his Grandfather (God rest his soul). Whenever Mike had free time he would be working on his plane, flying solo, or going through extensive aviation certifications. After years of grueling training, testing, and countless hours in the air Mike earned a position as a commercial pilot and was living his best life.

For the average person, accomplishing this dream would have been enough. But for Mike there was something missing. Mike needed to help others and to give back. So, naturally he took on a position as a flight instructor which gave Mike the change to offer his aviation passion and gift of teaching to others. Mike is known by his friends and students as “the teacher’s teacher.” Mike works with novice pilots as well as seasoned professionals, offering his mentorship and wisdom to anyone who is looking to become a master of their craft.

Mike lives each day with gratitude and passion. Mike has always been someone who has followed his heart no matter where his journey has led him.
